55. Teachings of Sree Rama Krishna Parama Hamsa

Sree Rama Krishna Parama Hamsa

Sree Sarada Maatha

THE SERVANT EGO

If you feel proud, do it in the thought that you are the servant of God, the son of God. Great men have the nature of children. They are always children before God, so they have no egoism. All their strength is of God-belonging to and coming from Him, nothing of themselves.
When the idea has been perfectly assimilated, the man will retain only the appearance of having the feelings and impulses of his won. Even if the egotism of the servant or the worshiper should remain, he who has attained to God can hurt none. The whole sting of personality has vanished. The sword has become gold by the touch of the philosopher’s stone. It keeps its form but cannot wound again.

Relationship between Guru and disciple

A man was disputing about the character of his Guru when the Master said, “Why are you wasting your time in this futile discussion? Take the pearl and throw away the oyster-shell. Meditate on the Mantra given to you by the Guru and leave out of consideration the human frailties of the teacher.”
Listen not to any one censuring your Guru. The Guru is greater than your father and mother. Would you keep quiet when your father and mother are insulted in your presence? Fight, if necessary, and maintain the honor of your Guru.

The disciple should never criticize his Guru. He must implicitly obey whatever the Guru says. A certain couplet in Bengali says: “Though my Guru may visit the tavern, still my Guru is holy Ray- Nityananda; though my Guru may visit the unholy haunts of drunkards and sinners, still to me he is my own pure and faultless Guru.”

********************************************************************************************************

DIVINE POWERS AND QUALITIES

The Avatars are born with Divine powers and Divine qualities. They can go into and stay in any state of realization from the highest to the lowest. In a king’s palace a stranger can go only to the outer quarters, but the king’s own child, the prince of the house, is free to go to every corner.

53. Mending and Amending ------- Master KT

52. Study of Self --------- Master KT

Study of Self

Study of scriptures should be preceded by study of self. Study of self has to be dispassionate. Study the thoughts that are generally entertained. Study their quality, enquire the self if it is satisfied by their quality. The conscience will not accept entertainment of thoughts of inferior quality. Study dispassionately the thoughts that hover around you. Put up their quality before your conscience; examine their worthiness. It shows to you the inferior nature that is hidden in you. Inferior nature brings up inferior thoughts. Many times your nature is more powerful than you. You may not be able to avoid, eliminate or overcome this nature. The only way in such situation is to pray the Omnipotent. The power of the Omnipotent potentiates your will, enabling you to overcome the undesirable nature in you. This is a game of patience which you have to play with yourself. It helps you to relate better to the surroundings. It helps you to gain the mind which is fit to read the scriptures.

51.The value of sleep ------ Master KT

THE VALUE OF SLEEP

Many glamour to meditate, but their own nature forms a stumbling block to get into the meditative state. From their nature they get an array of irregular thoughts many times disturbing and discomforting. One’s nature is the dweller at the threshold for those who strive to get into the meditative state. The reason for a strong dweller at the threshold is the activity of the mind throughout the day. The dweller cannot be overcome so very easily until and unless one synthesizes the activity, food and rest of the day. The key to gaining quiet nature is in following the laws of right relationship and to daily associate with the knowledge of eternity. When these two are coupled with an orderly daily activity one’s nature calms down. The ability to do so depends upon one’s linkage with the objectivity. The linkage could be bondage when it develops obligatory Karma due to one’s own ignorance.
I am sure by narrating the above you are more discouraged than encouraged to walk the path of occultism. That is not the purpose of this title. The best way to set a good routine is to ensure good and regular hours of sleep. All aspirants are strongly recommended to give high value to sleep. Let not other priorities disturb the attempt to rhythmise sleep. Let your sleep be set to a rhythm. Students are recommended to retire to bed at the least by 10:30 in the evening and wake up by 5:00 o’clock in the morning. Remember that the sleep hours are hours of meditation. Consciously prepare and get into the sleep. This is much more helpful than meditation for the aspirants.

50. Fundamental Mistake ------ Master KT

FUNDAMENTAL MISTAKE

Brotherhood, equanimity, freedom are the most beaten words in the human society. While at the same time they are the most sublime words. These three great thoughts are more a reality in the subtle world and are only unattainable ideals in the physical world. The freedom is within. So are the other two. The objective world is but a reflection of the subjective world. Every reflection has its refraction. You cannot set right the refraction of the reflection. It is therefore necessary that you lift up your awareness from the gross physical to the subtle, to experience the reality of the said ideals.

When you function as a Soul, the brotherhood of the Souls can be seen with the fellow Souls. Equanimity amidst can also be experienced. At the Soul level, freedom is natural. Soul reflects into personality. When this reflection happens the refraction also happens. Living in personalities, do not expect freedom, fraternity and equanimity. This is the fundamental mistake that all aspirants commit.

49. The Kingly Way ------- Master KT

THE KINGLY WAY

Help yourself. Help others too. Seek-not help as far as possible. This is a commandment.

The one who helps oneself is the one who has the ability to help others. The person who intends helping others while he himself is helpless is a fool. Once there lived a king who could not sleep well. He called forth his teacher and sought solution. The teacher advised to inspect thoroughly the bed on which he sleeps. The king instructed the servants to make a thorough inspection of the bed and found a small pebble under the cushion of the bed. The pebble was removed, the king tried to sleep the next night. But he could not sleep. He again summoned the teacher and sought solution. The teacher advised again that he should thoroughly examine the bed. The king again instructed the servants. The servants inspected and found a dead insect under the cushion. The king was angry on the servants for their complacence. He tried to sleep for the 3rd night and again failed. He summoned the teacher again. The teacher again advised as before. The king this time inspected the bed himself and found a piece of magnet under the bed. He removed it and tried to sleep. He could sleep. Next day morning he invited the teacher to thank the teacher. The teacher said, “Dear king, it is not the pebble or the insect or the magnet that caused sleeplessness to you. It’s your lethargy to attend to your own simple duties. You have not been able to carry out your duties. You found comfort in delegating, what you needed to do personally. What you need to do by yourself, if you don’t, you cannot do anything for others and for the kingdom. Learn to do yourself what you need to do and delegate to others what others need to do. Help yourself and help others. Do not seek help. This is the kingly way to live.

48. Belief and Science -------- Master KT

BELIEF AND SCIENCE

The age of Kali led people into a paradox. People feel destitute and deserted when there is a program to protect preserve and save.
In every tradition on the globe, we find the stories of protecting-angels. We also find stories of protecting-saviors. Many fairy tales exist about the protecting-angels, which the grandparents narrate to the grandchildren. Nascent as they are, children believe better in the protecting-angels than the grown-ups. Can we really call them grown-ups, when they narrate what they do not believe?

A child in the west easily believes in Santa Claus. A child in India, likewise, instantly believes in Hanuman and Ganesha. But as humans grow they lose their beliefs somewhere on the way. The grown-ups believe that they have enough reason. But is it reasonable to jettison a value without a scientific enquiry into it? Science cannot develop sceptics. Science should develop dispassionate inquirers. Be inquiring. Be dispassionate in your inquiry. Then you will find the truth in protection. Do you know that all beliefs are scientific? Only the science relating to them is lost.

47. The Loop-hole --------- Master Morya

46. Fundamental Question ------- Master Morya

Fundamental Question

A self forgetful one forgets the purpose of life. When life is lived without purpose, man entangles with the objectivity and binds himself. Self awareness is the key. There is every need to recollect on a daily basis “Who am I? And what am I to do?” These two questions set men on the track. If not men enter into a wheel moving circularly doing the same things for lives together. Such ones cannot be happy. Searching for happiness they die and take birth again. The key to happiness and fulfillment is to be aware of one’s original identity and also to be aware of the law of the Nature. The basic law of the Nature is service. When men follow the Path of Service the riddles in life get resolved. The consciousness expands. It breaks the self imposed boundaries. We insist that every aspirant should think of the two basic questions on a daily basis namely, “Who am I? And what am I to do?” Let this be the first item of the daily agenda.

45. The Birds ---------Master Morya

THE BIRDS

The birds fly out into the sky even before the dawn. Singing they fly with much enthusiasm to distant places. Only those who have the spirit of enthusiasm sing early in the morning, sing joyfully. Morning tunes are but joyful expressions of one’s own enthusiasm relating to life. Singing thus the birds fly in the light sky. They cover long distances and eventually fetch food for their kin as they return home at the even tide.
Do you know why the birds fly so far, it’s not for food as the humans think, for the humans think only of food. They fly to be in the lighted sky. To fetch food they don’t have to fly so long and so far. The vultures fly not much. Their mind is predominantly food-oriented; they look for flesh, but the birds that fly high and far off to distant lands do so for the joy of flying. It is but eventual that they gather a little food for their kin.

Among the symbols of spirit, the birds stand out, for they live high in sky, live not for food and move singing. The morning songs of the birds are the wake-up calls to the beings. Listen to the message of the bird that sings in the morning. The bird tells you to be joyful, enthusiastic and adventurous. They also demonstrate to live high in one’s own awareness.

44.Parama Shanthi ------- Master Morya

PARAMA SHANTHI

I spoke to you before of Shanthi and Prashanthi. I informed you that one relates to the peace of the outer and one relates to the peace of the inner. They are attainable through such virtues as obedience to the laws of nature, serving the fellow beings, abstaining from irregular speech, ensuring an active day without excessive waste of time and so on. From Shanthi one needs to enter into Prashanthi. Prashanthi is in the inner chambers relating to you. From Prashanthi one can attain through Tapas, Parama Shanthi. This Parama Shanthi is called by Gautama, the Buddha as Nirvana.
Parama Shanthi or Nirvana means becoming one with the One Existence and not feeling the individual self. It is like the wave merging into the ocean. Only the oceanic existence prevails. Thus the steps to Nirvana can be seen as Shanthi, Prashanthi, Tapas, and Parama-Shanthi. Christ speaks of this Nirvana when he says, “I and my Father in the Heaven are but one.”

43. The Re-collectors --------Master Morya

THE RE-COLLECTORS

Each time when man is born, he is born with good intention. Each time man wakes up in the morning; he too would like to go through a peaceful flowing life fulfilling a part of his plan. The moments preceding the birth are the moments of intense prayer by the soul to fulfill better in the ensuing incarnation. This intensity is like the good fragrance coming from an incense stick. The life of an incense stick is at best 15 minutes. Thereafter, the fragrance is lost in the room in another 15 minutes. The original smell of the room remains. Likewise, the intense prayers preceding the birth are lost by the time the incarnated soul gains 5 to 7 years of age. Thereafter the predominant traits overtake the good intention to move forward.
To remind purpose of life and to enable self-recollection of the original intention of incarnating, teachers keep moving amidst humanity. The true teachers enable recollection of purpose and would even enable its remembrance beyond an incarnation. Meeting such teachers is fulfillment in itself. Following their advice is the way to fulfillment. The Hierarchy is ever available to render this help to humanity.

42. Neither here nor there ------ Master Morya

NEITHER HERE NOR THERE

We the teachers have a problem. We teach. People listen and appreciate. They praise our teaching and us. They propagate us. They propagate our pictures. They bow down before our pictures. They build temples and meditation centers in our name. But, we teach to pupils with a fond hope that they follow the teachings in their life. This they do not do. They do everything other than this. If we insist on practicing our teachings, they would run away. This is our problem. Many teachings have come and gone. They get stored in cave temples, in the ashrams, in the libraries and in the bookshelves of the aspirants. They would even decorate their bookshelves with our books. But they do not read. And those who read do not practice. We keep on teaching. And the listeners keep on listening. One in a million acts upon the teaching. Others don’t. Do you know why it is so? The answer we know is selfishness. Selfishness cuts across all activity meant for soul progress. We also find a danger with some of the listeners. They do not follow the teachings in their life but pretend as though they are. These are the dangerous ones who lead others into illusion and even lead themselves also into illusion. These are the self-deceived ones who get into a loophole of awareness. They are irretrievable. They neither belong to the world of light nor the world of matter.

41. Master EK Messages-2

Master EK Messages

·       Positive thinking in terms of our attitude and behavior towards others helps us.
·    A common man has the tendency of fear because he overlooks the fact that others are what he himself is. Everyone is as non-dangerous as oneself. But everyone suspects there may be something dangerous in other’s view and procedure. One solution for this is – instead of remembering what we want; we begin to observe what others want. Familiarity dispels the fear when the mind is open. The same familiarity breeds contempt when one begins to detect the darker side of others. It is the reaction of others towards one’s own negative attitude that creates something undesirable in other’s attitude. When once the other man knows that you are no way dangerous, then he begins to come nearer to you in his true color. Such an approach stimulates the capacity to observe others in their true colors, and to stimulate the awareness of others in terms of natural behavior which we call virtue.
·       Voice in silence is presence. Experience the presence.

·   I am the breath and you do not know my beginning because I was at the time of your beginning and I will be there after the time of your ending. Therefore you cannot know my beginning or my ending because you begin in me and you end in me.

40. Yoga in Action ----- Lord Sree Krishna

39. Sradha and Nishta ------ Lord Sree Krishna

 Sradha and Nishta
----Lord Sree Krishna

Knowledge yields to the one who has Sradha and Nishta. Such knowledge bestows eternal bliss. (4/39)
Sradha means constant inspiration. It never decreases due to circumstances. It carries the same intent. There is no gushing of inspiration as is common with many aspirants. Inspiration should flow like an eternal clean stream, but not as a flood with much mud in it. Initially the inspiration gushes forth to an aspirant. When it gushes forth, it quickly dries up. There are aspirants who start much activity with a bang and after a few years they get defused and dried up of inspiration. They cannot consistently and constantly workout the same inspiration. Consistent and constant vibration coupled with inspiration constitutes Sradha. When one embarks upon a work of inspiration he should continue to be with it with the same consistency and constancy of vibration for long years. It has to be continuous too. The science of wisdom demands long years of continuous, consistent and constant functioning towards a noble aspect of life. This would develop a stable mind. Dabbling in too many things and not doing anything tangible does not help. Discontinuance does not help. Inconsistencies have to be arrested. Constancy has to be established. Inspiration should be kept alive through daily worship. When these are fulfilled, one is said to carry the quality of Sradha. To such ones knowledge yields.
The one with Sradha is alert in the Present and is not preoccupied with the Past or the Future. Being alert he attends to the Present to feel the Presence. Absence of Sradha is indicated by forgetfulness. It leads to mistakes. The ones with Sradha are focused on Present and do not defuse towards the results. Such ones move forward in the Path of Knowledge.

Nishta means consecration with focused attention. Sradha leads to Nishta. The focused attention is upon ‘That’ in everything. The consecration is also towards ‘That’. In the material world people get a lot of success through Sradha and Nishta. They are the same qualities required for moving into the subtle world. By consecrating oneself towards the Divine and focussing attention upon the Divine, when one acts in the mundane world with consistency, constancy and inspiration he would experience the occult side of the Creation and gets delighted. He learns to see beyond the veils of mundane Nature. He sees various forces at action behind the mundane nature. He further sees the Soul behind the veil of various forces. To him the veils of Isis (Maya) are unveiled. To such one the Eternal Bliss dawns along with the knowledge of the soul and its nature.

38. The Teacher ------- Lord Sree Krishna

THE TEACHER

Know that through devotional service to the Teacher the Teacher initiates you into the keys of wisdom.

There have always been two ways followed by man to find the Truth. One is a search for the Truth all by oneself, and the other is a search for Truth with the guidance of the Teacher.

The searching for Truth is searching for a hidden valuable gem in a vast jungle, which has mountains valleys, rivers, deserts, darkness and light. How does one search for a hidden gem? The answer is fiery aspiration which has the quality of the Will to Dare. Only the aspiration keeps the seeker on this job, and is tested by the darkness and light, by the dryness of the deserts and inundation of rivers. He could fall from a peak and could be bitten by a snake in the valley. It’s an adventure. Truth seeking is undoubtedly an adventure. It’s not a part time job. It’s not a fair time practice. It does not accommodate vocations. There are no weekends. It’s a fulltime, whole-time, life-time engagement.

One may get engaged whole-time but how to proceed remains a question. Seldom one attains by himself. Such examples are rare.
Amidst such impasse, if one finds a guide is that not a facility? The guide is one who knows a way and who shows the way. A guide is certainly a facility in an unknown land and unknown situations. But the guides are not obliged to guide, they guide only if it is safe to guide the seeker. They ensure safety of the seeker, safety to them and safety to the path. If not they do not. They have their own way of evaluating the Truth seeker. The Truth seeker would do well to serve such a guide to show the way. Serving the Teacher in many ways can in one sentence be said as facilitating the Teacher in every possible way to fulfill the tasks undertaken by him. Facilitation can be in all the three planes – physical, emotional and mental. When the student assists the Teacher unhesitatingly in any of the areas where such facilitation is needed the Teacher gets favorably inclined to the student.

An inclined Teacher gives keys slowly but gradually, the keys to ignorance and the keys to knowledge as well. Seeking knowledge of Truth begins with knowing the ignorant aspects of Truth.

The Teacher debriefs the seeker all ignorance that he gathers in the name of knowledge and briefs afresh the knowledge. The Truth seekers generally think that they know to some extent and they need to know the remaining, but more often what little they know is incorrect. The Teacher therefore corrects through a process of debriefing and briefs afresh. The student gains confidence with the Teacher as much as he gets debriefed. Knowledge is never given until ignorance is. Ignorance is cleared and as much ignorance is cleared so much knowledge unfolds. The Teacher does all this without interfering, intimidation and influence.

37. DUTY -------- Lord Sree Krishna

DUTY

Let duty direct you, but not desire. What you have to do as a human being is given in the Scriptures. If you follow the Path of Duty, the serpent of desire cannot bite you. Desire leads to multitudes of desire. Duty employs you with one act of service or the other. Desire, like the prostitute, invites many. Duty invites only Dharma, the Law of Right Action. Let every speech and action be put to the test of duty; if it does not, follow it not. Let that be the dictum. Do not be haste to decide what your duty is, know it from the Scriptures and from the Teachers. An impure mind cannot gaze between duty and desire.

36. Right Behavior -------- Lord Sree Krishna

RIGHT BEHAVIOR

No man ever does any act of sin without feeling the compulsion from within. The man carries in his nature desirable as well as undesirable traits. Undesirable traits are generally filtered away by the will of man. But sometimes the inner traits may over power the will resulting in acts, which he himself may not feel comfortable of. In such situations he is helpless. “What is the recourse in such destitutions?” asks Arjuna, the representative of Man.

The Lord answers, “the qualities of man relate to Nature. Nature’s qualities exist in man. They are basically dynamism, inertia and poise. Poise gives desirable traits. The other two give undesirable traits. Man should know that it is the Nature’s qualities functioning in him as his qualities. He should try his best to be with the traits of poise for which his discriminative will helps. But, at the same time the other traits may work through man in spite of man’s will. In all such situations it is better for him that he surrenders his inability unto ME, the I AM, in him and seek pardon. Even gnostics sometimes are tricked by Nature and do acts of ignorance. In creation no one is an exception to Nature’s illusion. Mistakes can happen. It is not wise to brood over.

It is wise to intensify his prayers and meditations to align with ME, the I AM, in him. By doing so his will gets supplemented by My will, which would help him to exercise his desired resistance to the traits undesirable. Intense and regular prayers and meditations to align with ME would result in manifestation of the quality of poise, which neutralizes the other two qualities to form into an equilateral triangle of qualities.

Therefore, it is necessary that man engage more and more with the I AM in him and in all that surrounds him, than brooding over the mistakes that happen.

35. SWADHARMA -------Lord Sree Krishna

34. Healing --------- Lord Maitreya

HEALING

Man today is very alert and very careful in money matters. His Sradha for money is by and large very high. The reason being his belief in money that it is the means for all his fulfilments. When he is sick he feels the importance of health. When he is not sick he coolly forgets about it. His Sradha in health is intermittent. Man needs to look to his health first and wealth next. Health enables voyaging in the river currents of life.
Wealth is only supportive. When he cares not for the health he disturbs the equilibrium of the 5 elements in the body and the disturbed elements lead him to further sickness. Man needs to observe the treasure of the 5 elements more than the outward treasures. When the inner treasures are intact his voyage through life is peaceful. He therefore needs to observe if there is excessive matter or water or fire or air in him.

Anything that is in excess or in shortage breeds sicknesses. He needs to restitute the 5 elements in him. This is the real way to heal oneself. He can also work to purify and restitute the elements around him through prevention of pollution. It is also an act of healing. Today’s ills are mostly due to polluted matter, water, air and pollution through the smoke of fire. Remember, if you disturb elements the elements in turn disturb you.

33. Caution and Jealousy ----- Lord Maitreya

CAUTION ON JEALOUSY

Jealousy is mental leprosy. Mental leprosy is very high to day and we relentlessly try to heal. Jealousy killed many a disciple. Jealousy eats away the little knowledge and feeds the pride. Jealousy caused wars, jealousy caused robbery, jealousy makes man restless, and jealousy drives man to deadly acts. Jealousy is the energy that imprisoned this humanity. Only the focused one, who attends to their work of service with discriminative will, can escape out of the forest of jealousy. Duty, discriminative will, attitude to serve, and non-engagement in side issues are the four cardinal principles to escape out of the dark forest. Be not a leper at any cost.

32. MESSAGE ON ALL-ROUND FULFILLMENT -------Lord Maitreya

MESSAGE ON  ALL-ROUND FULFILLMENT

All events of life whether pleasant or unpleasant, whether progressive or regressive, whether flowing or obstructive are all purposive and do contribute for the evolution of the soul. The soul progresses from incarnation to incarnation, through varieties of experiences gained from each of the incarnations. In some aspects the soul gets fulfilled and in some other aspects it remains unfulfilled. Until there is all-round fulfillment the soul continues to incarnate. The rich needs to experience poverty, the poor need to experience the riches. The healthy needs to experience the sickness and the sick needs to experience health. Thus the presence and absence of every aspect of life need to be experienced. Ultimately he needs to experience birth and death, masculinity and femininity as well.

The Lord when incarnated as Krishna, He demonstrated total fulfillment. He expressed the 64 splendors of creation relating to 64 sciences of wisdom. He is the way; he is the goal of perfection. The soul needs to emulate, draw inspiration and move forward towards fulfillment through evolution.

31. A FEW HINTS FOR GROUP WORK ----Lord Maitreya

A FEW HINTS FOR GROUP WORK

A donkey cannot bear loads like a camel. One should know the load bearing capacity before he loads the fellow members. Loading with work is important for the member of the group to grow. Not all can be given equal loads of work. Likewise, the disciple should know the loads that he can bear. He cannot undertake more work and responsibility than what he can do. If he does so, he would either fail or would perfunctory in the work. Sometimes the overload can cause death through the related tension.
Among the group members some are more inclined and some are less inclined for work. There can be some who are just visitors. Work can be entrusted only to those who are inclined and such entrustments shall have to be as per their ability.
Even those who are dedicated to discipleship cannot continuously be with the work. The Law does not permit. They too need to relax. Aspirants who do not know how to relax would be put to relaxation through brief illnesses.
The aspirant should learn to work and to relax as well. He also has to learn the time dimension relating to the work. Sometimes the work moves faster. Some other times works move slow. There can be times where the work needs to be suspended.

The last word of caution, “do not drag disinclined ones into work.” It’s like washing the mouth of a pig!

30. The Heart ------ Lord Maitreya

THE HEART
Pulsating consciousness is the reality. Space pulsates, say the scriptures. Space is but universal consciousness, unbound, undefined.
As the Word emerges from Existence pulsation exists, until the Word joins God. Pulsation is the basis for the conscious existence. Without pulsation naught is. With pulsation it is Existence as Awareness. The law of pulsation enables involution and evolution. All that is in Existence pulsates.
Seldom pulsation is recognized, for it is the background consciousness. Beings are generally engaged with the Will, which is the knowledge to fulfill and the Activity to fulfill. But beyond this triplicity, there is the pulsating consciousness. One cannot call himself an occultist until one is associated with the pulsating consciousness within oneself. As one connects to the pulsating consciousness while in daily work, such one is called the linked one. As much as one is linked so much he can fulfill the plan upon Earth. De-linked, one moves in circles finding no way out.
Practice thrice daily for 24 minutes to stay connected with pulsation, through the help of respiration. May the mind be associated with respiration so that the mental awareness reaches its source.
Thinking from the heart and speaking from the heart may be adopted into the daily activity. When this is accomplished one stays connected. As much as one stays connected so much he trumpets the Truth. Others confuse.

Hierarchy conducts all from the Heart.

29. The Emergency ----- Lord Maitreya

The Emergency

The earth is formed only for the earthy beings. The learning centers are formed only for the learners. Know that the planet Earth is a grand learning centre where the beings are to learn and fulfill themselves.  All beings except the humans are progressive. The humans are not. The human is caught in a self generated vicious circle and is stuck there. The humans not only caused a blockage to themselves but are also blocking the other beings and their progress. When the seniors do not pass over to higher system the juniors cannot progress, for the former blocks the way for the latter. This is the present crisis on the planet. The humans need to learn. They need to unlearn many things that they have learnt. The teachers are striving in this direction. But neither there is unlearning of undesirable nor learning of desirable. If this situation continues the very activity becomes meaningless. Time therefore intervenes and the Mother Earth may make needed changes. It happened so with the Atlanteans. The humans should know that they are in the hour of crisis and that they have to unlearn many and learn the fundamentals. We the teachers are still hopeful that the redressing will happen. The teachers know the crisis ahead. The humans do not seem to be aware of this crisis. They continue to be childish. The situation is not yet considered to be hopeless. The hierarchy is at work, for emergency is already declared.

28. Getting the doctrine of responsibilty ---- Lord Maitreya

GETTING THE DOCTRINE OF RESPONSIBILITY

A man’s life is decided by the degree of responsibility that he holds. As much one stays in responsibility so much one stands integrated. Otherwise he disintegrates. He fragments himself. He becomes a bundle of conflicts.

Responsibility is the word that we, the Hierarchy, cherish most. The word ‘right’ is unheard in the hierarchical circles. Right reminds one what is due to him from society. Responsibility reminds one what is due by him to the society. Responsibility is the way of life that we know. The path of rights is the path of Kali. When rights are predominant fights continue. The glorious civilizations of the past were all built through responsibility and were all destroyed when the later generations oriented to rights more than responsibilities.

Man is expected to be responsible to the fellow human, to the animal, to the plant and to the minerals and metals. We still await for humanity to play the role of an elder brother towards the inferior kingdoms. Instead, he exploits. The result is, he suffers.

Schools have to be initiated specially to teach the doctrine of responsibility so that the man emerges from the beastly man. We work for it.

THOSE WHO WORK TO PROVIDE BASIC NEEDS FOR HUMANITY (FOOD, DRESS, SHELTER) WILL PROSPER IN THEIR LIFE…THOSE WHO MAKE USE OF NATURAL RESOURCES (COW, COCONUT, MANGOES, POULTRIES, SHEEP ETC) FOR THEIR LIVELIHOOD WILL PROSPER IN THEIR LIFE.

Disobedience cannot be tolerated

There is a magnet in your heart that will attract true friends. That magnet is unselfishness -thinking of others first.

Calmness is the living breath of God’s immortality in you.

Duty, discriminative will, attitude to serve, and non-engagement in side issues are the four cardinal principles to escape out of the dark forest of jealousy.

The one who helps oneself is the one who has the ability to help others. Help yourself. Help others too. Seek not help as far as possible. This is a commandment.

Let every speech and action be put to the test of duty; if it does not, follow it not. Let that be the dictum.

To wash karma, contemplate upon the blue and invoke much blue into his being. the elevator is from violet ->rose->golden yellow->honey yellow->aquamarine->light blue. once the blue is well settled in the mind, the budhic experience keeps happening in terms of light and sound, which elevate the student to the state of joyness.

when one acts with duty as the basis, his senses oblige him. if one acts with desire as the basis, the senses condition him. that is the law. one can’t kill desire but one can filter the desire through the screening of duty  --- lord sree krishna.

honouring the principle of “continuity of recollection”, krishna absorbed those who continuously disliked him even. hence continuity of recollection is necessary to attain god. Example: sisupaludu

where there is no inspiration, there teaching IS NOT possible. teaching is for those who are inspired. to inspire is not our path. to lead those who are inspired is our path---Lord maitreya.

the first step in discipleship is to proceed towards PRASHANTHI (the inner peace) than SHANTHI (the outer peace) --- master morya.

cooperation is a rare virtue. seeking cooperation from others is not what we teach. offering cooperation to others is what we teach. the one who does not know how to offer cooperation would not be called a brother --- master koothoomi.

courage, discrimination, purity of mind, quietude are inborn qualities of an aspirant standing at the door of initiation for discipleship. They are the result of actions of goodwill rendered in the past life. Goodwill in action leads one to the Path. As much as one demonstrates goodwill, so much he progresses. The Path suddenly disappears to those who entertain malice.  ---- master e.k.

Purpose of continuity should be maintained in the life, then the life will become strengthening (EX:  wood available IN FOREST. we make tables, furniture etc with that wood. its shape is changed, but it serves the humanity for years together. in the same way, whatever we do today should be useful for tomorrow and there after EVEN)

we are made to live. SO we may not plan the things properly, this is because we did not take our first respiration on our own, that was being done by the nature. hence, nature can plan for ourselves and we need to accept and follow THAT in this world. ex: rama met with sugriva and promised him to save his life when rama was in search of sita

manassekam vachassekam karmanyekam MAHATMANAM (tapas). manassanyam vachasanyam karmananyam duratmanam.

dharmo rakshathi rakshitaha
satyaannasthi paro dharmaha

manayeva manushyaanaam kaaranam bandhamokshayoh

first message to jesus from lord IS: all are one my dear son and be alike to everyone.

desires are the root cause of our sufferings ---- lord budha

aparigraham leads us to prosperity

I can see that in the midst of death life persists, in the midst of untruth truth persists, in the midst of darkness light persists. Hence I gather that God is life, Truth, Light. He is Love. He is the supreme good.
---- M.K. Gandhi.
Your own Self-Realization is the greatest service you can render the world.
