Listening to the stories of lord Vishnu is a great wealth and it would act as our strength at the background.
Restoration of mind to it's original state (only one) is possible by maintaining neutrality in reaction towards the action made by the environment and making action on your own will but not based on the action made by environment. ----- Master EK.
When you stand in a room in which several parallel mirrors are arranged, you can see more number of images. But you are only one in number. Even then you are appeared as many. Similarly, when mind is only one in number, but when senses work on it, it appears as 5 reflections. When mirrors are removed, there would be again only one mind. We need to restore the original state of mind (only one but not many).----Master EK.
Don't try to control the breath directly. A controlled mind can control the breath. When equilibrium is established in respiration, then the mind and senses disappear into respiration so that the yoga student can exist with out making exhalation for a longtime. This is all possible through pranayama. ---- Master EK.
Through pranayama, health can be re-established in the human constitutions. For this, mind should be naturally kept calm. We can't control mind directly. Regulation of timings of work and perfect daily routine at regular intervals of time leads to disappearance of mind naturally. This is the state we need to establish first. ----- Master EK.
Health of the pulsation depends on the equilibrium of these 2 pulsations ( prana and apana ). As long as we continue with our unwanted emotions such as lust, anger, etc (6 in number), this equilibrium gets disturbed and causing bad health in human constitutions. This is the real cause of bad health, some times, it leads to death. ---- Master EK.
Respiration is caused through 2 pulsations called prana and apana. When prana takes place, oxygen will be taken inside. When apana takes place, CO2 and other excretes such as urine, stool, sweat etc., will be sent out. When we receive information from environment, prana works. When we react with environment, apana works. --- Master EK.
The mind is continuously experiencing only reflection but not existence (through 5 sensory organs). We should see that our mind should exist but not it's reflection. This is the keynote to establish neutrality toward the reaction to the environment. ----- Master EK.
Your reaction towards the environment should be neutralized, your action towards the environment should be established. This is the practice you are required to do now. ------ Master EK.

కర్మ
కురుక్షేత్ర యుద్ధం ముగిసింది. కృష్ణుడు పాండవులను తీసుకుని హస్తినాపురానికి వస్తాడు. తన వందమంది పుత్రులను పోగొట్టుకున్న ధృతరాష్ట్రుడు శోకంలో మునిగిపోయి ఉంటాడు.కృష్ణుడిరాకను గమనించిన ధృతరాష్ట్రుడు ఎదురువెళ్ళి బోరున విలపిస్తాడు. చిన్నపిల్లాడిలా ఏడుస్తున్న ధృతరాష్ట్రుడిని కృష్ణుడు ఓదార్చే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తాడు.
ధృతరాష్ట్రుడి దుహ్ఖం కోపంగామారి కృష్ణుడిని నిలదీస్తాడు. "అన్నీ తెలిసి కూడా, మొదటి నుంచీ జరిగేదంతా చూస్తూ కూడా సాక్షాత్తూ భగవంతుడవైన నువ్వు ఎందుకు మిన్నకుండిపోయావు? ఇంత ఘోరాన్ని ఎందుకు ఆపలేదు? కావాలని ఇదంతా ఎందుకు జరగనిచ్చావు? ఈరోజు తనకి వందమంది పుత్రులని పోగొట్టుకునే స్థితిని ఎందుకు కలగజేశావు అని నిలదీస్తాడు. అందుకు అన్నీ తెలిసిన కృష్ణుడు ఇలా సమాధానమిస్తాడు.

"ఓ రాజా! ఇదంతా నేను చేసిందీ కాదూ, నేను జరగనిచ్చిందీ కాదు. ఇది ఇలా జరగటానికి, నీకు పుత్రశోకం కలగటానికీ అన్నిటికీ కారణం నువ్వూ నీ కర్మ. యాభై జన్మల క్రితం నువ్వొక కిరాతుడివి (వేటగాడు). ఒకరోజు వేటకు వెళ్ళి రోజంతా వేటాడినా నీకు యేమీ దొరకని సందర్భంలో ఒక అశోక వృక్షం మీద రెండు గువ్వల జంట వాటి గూట్లో గుడ్లతో నివసిస్తున్నాయి. వాటిని నీవు చంపబోగా ఆ రెండు పక్షులూ నీ బాణాన్ని తప్పించుకుని బ్రతుకగా అప్పటికే సహనము నశించినవాడివై కోపంతో ఆ గూట్లో ఉన్న వంద గుడ్లను ఆ రెండు పక్షులు చూస్తుండగా విచ్చిన్నం చేశావు. తమ కంటి ముందే తమ నూర్గురు పిల్లలు విచ్చిన్నం అవుతున్నా కూడా ఏమీ చేయలేని నిస్సహాయ స్థితిలో చూస్తూఉండిపోయాయి. ఆ పక్షుల గర్భశోకం దుష్కర్మగా నిన్ను వదలక వెంటాడి ఈ జన్మలో నిన్ను ఆ పాపము నుండి విముక్తుడిని చేసి కర్మబంధం నుండి విడిపించింది, నువ్వు ఎన్ని జన్మలెత్తినా ఎక్కడ ఉన్నా ఎవరు నిన్ను ఉపేక్షించినా, ఎవరు నిన్ను శిక్షించలేకపోయినా నీ కర్మ నిన్ను తప్పక వెంటాడుతుంది, వదలక వెంటాడి ఆ కర్మ ఫలాన్ని అనుభవింపచేస్తుంది. కర్మ నుండి ఎవరూ తప్పించుకోలేరు" అని అంటాడు.
ధృతరాష్ట్రుడు సమాధానపడ్డట్టు అనిపించినా మళ్ళీ కృష్ణుడిని తిరిగి ప్రశ్నిస్తాడు. కర్మ అంత వదలని మొండిదే అయితే యాభై జన్మలు ఎందుకు వేచి ఉన్నట్టు? ముందే ఎందుకు శిక్షించలేదు అని ప్రశ్నిస్తాడు. అందుకు కృష్ణుడు చిరునవ్వు నవ్వి "ఓ రాజా! వందమంది పుత్రులను ఒకే జన్మలో పొందాలంటే ఎంతో పుణ్యం చేసుకోవాలి.. ఎన్నో సత్కర్మలు ఆచరించాలి. ఈ యాభై జన్మలు నువ్వు ఈ వందమంది పుత్రులను పొందడానికి కావల్సిన పుణ్యాన్ని సంపాదించుకున్నావు. వందమంది పుత్రులను పొందేంత పుణ్యం నీకు లభించాక నీ కర్మ తన పని చేయడం మొదలుపెట్టింది అని శెలవిస్తాడు. అది విన్న ధృతరాష్ట్రుడు కుప్పకూలిపోతాడు.
మనం జన్మజన్మలుగా సంపాదించుకున్న పుణ్యఫలాలన్నీ ఒక్క చెడ్డపనితో తుడిచిపెట్టుకుపోతాయి అని శ్రీ కృష్ణుడు అంతరార్థం.

Daana --means Charity. We have to do charity on daily basis (atleast before we take our food). Example, we may provide jaggery to ants in the morning after puja., We may offer food grains like rice, green dal, cooked rice to birds or dogs. This inculcate the quality of compassion in us, which is a most important quality for human beings.
Tapas -- means penance. It is a 3 fold procedure to be followed with determination ( mental, oral and physical) to complete a right task.
Yagna means an activity to be performed on daily basis for the benefit of others without expecting anything in return. It should be done along with our duty.
బుద్ధిలో లీనమైన మనస్సు యొక్క మౌనమే సహజమైన మౌనము. ----Master EK.

Brahma Vidya is not a thing to be learnt or possessed. One should do Sadhana and get disciplined by selling themselves away permanently to it, then only this can be known by them.
kama = desire to attached to one thing that is not required.
Krodha= anger
Lobha= temptation to possess that what is not ours.
Moha= mistaking one thing to another.
Mada = indifference (pride)
Maatsarya = malice = feeling unhappy to see anyone happy.
When we have kama, krodha, lobha, moha, mada, maatsarya in us while behaving with others,
we become incapable of receiving sufficient prana sakthi into our body from the nature around us.
Disease does not lie on physical body. Disease exist in the mind of the person and it's results reflect on the physical body. When the mind becomes pure, there would be no disease on physical body. వ్యాధి అనేది మానవుని యందు వుంటుంది, దానివలన శరీరానికి వ్యాధితమగుస్థితి వస్తుంది. ---- Master EK.

యోగాభ్యాసములో మనస్సును ఉచ్ఛ్వాస, నిశ్వాస ల మీదనే లగ్నం చేయాలి. ఇది కాకుండా వేరే దేనిమీద లగ్నం చేసినా చిత్తవృత్తి నిరోధం జరుగక మీ ఉచ్ఛ్వాస నిశ్వాస ములే మీకు అడ్డు పడుతుంటాయి. ------- Master EK.

దౌర్మనస్యం ( వ్యక్తుల పై గానీ, విషయాలపై గానీ దిగులు, వ్యామోహం, బెంగ వుండటం) వున్నవాడు యోగాభ్యాసము నకు పనికి రాడు. ---- Master EK.
అంగమేజత్వము (ధ్యానం లో కూర్చుని వున్నప్పుడు నడుము వంగి కూర్చోవడం, శరీరభాగాలు కదులుతూ వుండటం, తలనొప్పి, వళ్ళునొప్పులు మొదలగునవి) వుండరాదు. అలావున్నచో చిత్తవిక్షేపం కలగడం వలన యోగాభ్యాసమునకు పనికిరాదు. దీనిని సవరించుటకు ప్రతి రోజూ ఒకే సమయానికి వ్యాయామం, ఆసనాలు, నడక మొదలగునవి ఏర్పాటు చేసుకోవాలి. దీనివలన శరీరం ఉత్సాహంగా వుండి యోగసాధన సుగమం అవుతుంది. ------- Master EK.

Prayer is an invocation to meditation. What a piano is to a musician, prayer is to you to get into the meditation. If you say that you are concentrating, that means you are not concentrating. When you engage your mind to carry out a good work or service, and if you forget that you are working or serving others, that state is called concentration. Similarly, if you say that you are sleeping, this means you are not sleeping at all. Sleeping is a state which can be understood once you get up from sleep. ----- Master EK.

LAWS OF NATURE
The food we eat, has to be digested and then thrown out of body in 24 hours, else we will fall ill.
The water we drink, gets in our body and is thrown out in 4 hours, else we will fall ill.
The air we breathe, has to be thrown out in 1 minute, else we will die.
What about negative emotions like hatred, anger, jealousy, insecurity ... we hold in our body for days, months and years.
If these negative emotions are not thrown out regularly it props up into psycho-somatic diseases.
Meditation, prayers and above all an attitude of goodwill are safest way to dissolve these emotions.

మద్భక్తాయత్రగాయంతి తత్ర తిష్ఠామి నారద. -- శ్రీ విష్ణు భగవానుడు నారద మహర్షితో ఇట్లు తన సమాధానమును తెలిపెను. అది ఏమనగా-- ఓ నారదా నాభక్తులు ఎక్కడ నా నామసంకీర్తనము గావించు చుందురో అచ్చట నేను ప్రత్యేకంగా కొలువై వుందును. కలియుగంలో కేశవనామసంకీర్తనము శ్రేష్ఠమైనది. కలౌసంకీర్ త్యకేశవమ్.
యోగస్థః కురుకర్మాణి ---- యోగస్థుడవై కర్మలను (చేయవలసినవి, చేయదగిన పరోపకార కర్మలు) ఆచరించవలెను. భగవంతునికి ప్రీతికరమైన కర్మలను భక్తితో ను, సమర్పణబుద్దితోను ఆచరించడం మే యోగము. యోగస్థుడవై అనగా అట్టి యోగమును అవలంబించిన వాడవై కర్మలను ఆచరించాలి. ----- భగవద్గీత, Explanation given by Master EK.
చిత్తవ్రృత్తి నిరోధమునకు ముందుగా మనకు వున్న క్లేశములను విడిచి పెట్టవలెను. ఆ క్లేశములు 3 విధములు.
1. అవిద్య 2. అస్మిత 3. రాగము.
అవిద్య అనగా ఈ స్రృష్ఠి మొత్తంలో మనం భాగంగా వున్నా, సృష్టి కన్నా వేరు వేరుగా ప్రత్యేకంగా మనల్ని మనం గుర్తుంచుకొని ప్రవర్తించడం.
అస్మిత అనగా అహంకారం కలిగి ఉండటం. మీ అభిప్రాయం మీదే, నా అభిప్రాయం నాదే యనే తత్వంలో వుండటం.
రాగము అనగా self proposed agreeable environment. రోజూ సుఖపడే పద్ధతిని అలవాటు చేసుకొని, దానికి విరుద్ధంగా ఎప్పుడైనా ఇబ్బంది కలిగించే పరిస్థితులు కలిగితే తట్టుకోలేక పోవటం.
యోగ సాధకులు ఈ 3 రకాల క్లేశములను ముందుగా దాటాలి. ------ మాస్టర్ ఇకె.
It's the inefficiency of a person not to come up in the life. It's the responsibility of a person to understand his weakness and to rectify it at the earliest possible. Otherwise, he would be in the same position for years together with out any progress. No one can help him in this regard. But once he understood his present state of evolution and try to rectify his behaviour and follow the right direction with dedication, soon he will become rightly eligible to get a higher position. ఉప్పు బొమ్మను సముద్రపు లోతును కొలవటానికి వుపయోగించినపుడు ఆ బొమ్మ సముద్రపు నీటిలో కరిగిపోయి అసలు బొమ్మ లేకుండా పోతుంది. అట్లే మనయందున్న పరమాత్మను భక్తి, ధ్యానములతో తెలుసుకోవడానికి ప్రయత్నం చేసినపుడు మనోలయం జరిగి, నేనే పరమాత్మ అనే అనుభూతి కలిగి, మనోనిశ్చలత, నిత్యానందం కలిగి సర్వజీవులయందూ తననే దర్శించుకొనే లక్షణం కలిగి, తనవారు- ఇతరులు అనే బేధభావంపోయి, స్త్రీ పురుషులనే లింగభేదంపోయి, సర్వజీవులయందూ అకారణంగా పరమ ప్రేమను కలిగి జీవించగలిగే స్థితి వస్తుంది. ఓంకార ఉపాసన ఈ స్థితి పొందడానికి ముఖ్యంగా ఉపకరిస్తుంది. మాస్టర్ ఇకె గారు ఈ స్థితి పొందడానికి ఓంకార ఉపాసన ఎలా చేయాలి అనే విధానాన్ని పతంజలి యోగ సూత్రాలు ( audio files) లో చాలా వివరంగా ఇచ్చి యున్నారు.
యతోవాచానివర్తంతే అప్రాప్యమనసాసహ -- ఆ పరబ్రహ్మమును గూర్చి తెలుసుకొనుటకు మనస్సు, వాక్కు సరిపోవు. ఆ అనుభూతి ఎవరికి వారే పొందవలసిందేగానీ మరియొక మార్గం లేదు.
ఎదుటి ప్రతి వ్యక్తిలోనూ పరమాత్మనే దర్శించు వానిని ఎదుటి వ్యక్తిలోని రజోగుణముగాని, తమోగుణముగాని ఏమియును బాధింపలేవు. ఇంతకుమించి చేయవలసిన సాధనలేదు, లేదు, లేదు.

పరోపకారము చేయుట, చేసినవాని మనస్సు బాగుపడుటకు గాని పరుని ఉపకారమునకు కాదు.

సాధన ఎన్నాళ్ళు అంటే, ఎన్నాళ్ళు అన్న ప్రశ్న తొలగిపోవు వరకు. ఆపైన ఎట్లాగు సాధన ఆగదు.

సర్వవిధముల విచారింపక యేపనియు చేయరాదు. సర్వవిధముల విచారించి చేసిన పనికి ఎన్నటికీ హాని కలుగదు. ------ మిత్రలాభము.
సేవకావ్రృత్తిచే లభించు పాయసాన్నము కంటే స్వచ్ఛంధవ్రృత్తిచే లభించు గంజి మేలు. కావున ప్రాప్తలాభముచే త్రృప్తిపడి సుఖమందుము. ----- చిన్నయసూరి.
పరిమళాలు మోయు గాడిద ఏనుగగునా? అట్లే ఎన్ని విద్యలు నేర్చిననూ నీచుడు ఉత్తముడు కాలేడు.
ఎలుకతోలును పట్టి ఏడాది ఉతికినా తెలుపు రాదు. కొయ్య బొమ్మను తెచ్చి ఎంతకొట్టినా పలుకదు కదా! అట్లే అల్పుని మనస్సు మారదు.
వేరుపురుగు వ్రృక్షమును, చీడపురుగు చెట్టును పాడుచేయునట్లు దుర్మార్గుడు గుణవంతుని చెరచును.
తనుచేసే పనిలో పదిమందికి పనికివచ్చేది ఉండి, వ్యక్తిగతమైనది ఉండదో అట్టివాణ్ణి ద్విజుడు అంటారు.

మానవుని దుఃఖానికి కారణం తనని తాను మరచిపోయి ప్రవర్తించడం. దుఃఖనివ్రృత్తికి కారణం తనని తాను గుర్తించి ప్రవర్తించడమే. ఇది చాలా ముఖ్యమైన విషయం, కావున దీనిని ఎప్పుడూ మరచిపోకూడదు.

ఒకరిని బాధపెట్టడం నీటిలో రాయిని వేసినంత సులువు. కానీ వారిని తిరిగి మామూలు స్థితికి తీసుకరావడం నీటిలోంచి ఆ రాయిని వెతికి తీసుకొచ్చేంత కష్టం. అందుకే ఎవరిని బాధపెట్టకుండా ఉందాం.

"మౌనం" - "మనస్సు"ని శుద్ధి చేస్తుంది. "స్నానం" "దేహాన్ని" శుద్ధి చేస్తుంది. "ధ్యానం" - "బుద్ది"ని శుద్ధి చేస్తుంది. "ప్రార్థన"- "ఆత్మ"ను శుద్ధి చేస్తుంది.
"దానం" - "సంపాదన"ను శుద్ధి చేస్తుంది. "ఉపవాసం"- "ఆరోగ్యాన్నీ" శుద్ది చేస్తుంది. అలాగే "క్షమాపణ" - "సంబంధాల"ను శుద్ది చేస్తుంది.

జీవితం ఎప్పుడూ ఒకేలా ఉండదు. చాలానే చూడాల్సివస్తుంది. వాటన్నింటినీ ఎదుర్కొనే "ధైర్యం" ఉన్నప్పుడే జీవితం అర్ధవంతంగా ఉంటుంది. ఏ క్షణంలో అయితే మన పట్ల మనం నమ్మకాన్ని కోల్పోతామో ఆ క్షణం నుండే మనం చచ్చిన శవంతో సమానం.

మనల్ని అర్ధం చేసుకుంటే గుండెల్లో గుడి కట్టినా తప్పులేదు. కానీ మనకే విలువ లేనిచోట ఎదుటి వ్యక్తి గురించి ఎంత ఆలోచించినా వ్యర్ధమే.

మనిషిలో "అహం" తగ్గిన రోజు "ఆప్యాయత" అంటే అర్ధం అవుతుంది. "గర్వం" పోయిన రోజు ఎదుటివారిని ఎలా "గౌరవించాలో" తెలుస్తుంది. "నేనే", "నాకేంటి !" అనుకుంటే చివరకు ఒక్కడిగానే ఉండాల్సివస్తుంది. "గౌరవమర్యాదలు" ఇచ్చిపుచ్చుకుంటూ అందరితో కలిసి ఆనందంగా జీవించడమే "మంచి జీవితం".

నిరంతరం వెలిగే సూర్యూణ్ణి చూసి "చీకటి" భయపడుతుంది. అలాగే నిత్యం కష్టపడే మనిషిని చూసి "ఓటమి" భయపడుతుంది.

ఇతరులు ఎలా ఉన్నారో అలా ఉండాలని భావించకు. నీకంటూ ఒక "విలువ" ఉందని తెలుసుకో. అలాగే నీకన్నా తక్కువ స్థాయి వారిని చూసి ఆనందపడకు. పై స్థాయి వారిని చూసి లక్ష్యమేర్పరచుకో.
